David Evans
Delivery Director
David is an inspirational Managing Director, driven by providing exceptional customer service with safety and innovation at the forefront of everything he does which drives the business forward and keeps Drainforce at the front edge.
David founded Drainforce Limited after an initial successful career in the Navy as Second Officer. This discipline, focus, procedure, compliance and attention to safety built the core skills that David has embedded in Drainforce, that allows the business to continually grow with success.
David thrives in a fast paced business environment and is naturally at home whether operating at strategic board level or on site with our engineers inspiring, motivating and leading from the front and enjoys the challenge of complex drainage problems that result in successful solutions.
David is the leadership steer and champion in innovation, strategic approach, client and customer growth and oversees Drainforce Limited's overall performance and business objectives. He leads by example to inspire and embed company values, behaviours, objectives and provides a key motivational role with employee development, recognition and retention.
Julian Powell
Managing Director
Julian has been with Drainforce Limited since we were founded and has been instrumental in the management and success of key client contracts and private customers in South Wales.
Julian has 30 years’ experience in the drainage sector progressing from operative to Director and has worked for companies which include; Brophy Utilities, Subterra (Contracting arm of Thames Water) and Kelda Water Services (Contracting arm of Yorkshire Water)
Julian leads and delivers consistent quality compliance with contracts and is our Director to steer and champion for operational leadership in our local offices in Wales.
This includes health and safety (IOSH Managing Safety qualified), compliance and achieving stretched performance targets for clients with focus on stretched performance targets.
Jamie Hooper
Director
Jamie joined Drainforce at just 17 years old and has shown exceptional commitment, determination, and ambition throughout his career with the business. Two years after joining the company, Jamie relocated to London to support our growing operations and embrace new opportunities.
During his time with Drainforce, Jamie has developed extensive expertise across a wide range of services, including UV lining, robotic cutting, CCTV surveying, and high-pressure water jetting. He has gained numerous industry qualifications and certifications, becoming highly skilled in the operation of our specialist equipment and establishing himself as a valued asset to both the business and his colleagues.
Jamie’s positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on any challenge led to his appointment as Project Manager for our Thames Water TCI Project. In this role, he successfully developed and expanded the project, built a strong safety-focused team, and consistently delivered outstanding results on the AIS Catchment Investigation programme, exceeding performance targets and key performance indicators.
His leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence have played a significant role in the continued success of the business. It is therefore with great pride that we welcome Jamie to the Board of Directors as he takes the next step in his Drainforce journey.
