We’re looking for an experienced CCTV Drainage Engineer to join our growing team, working across the Thames Water region.

We value skilled engineers and believe they should be properly rewarded for their experience and expertise. You’ll be operating brand-new, state-of-the-art iPEK CCTV camera systems and Rioned high-pressure jetting equipment, giving you some of the best equipment available to get the job done safely, efficiently and professionally.

The Role


As a CCTV Drainage Engineer, you’ll work across the Thames Water area, investigating sewer and drainage networks, identifying defects and blockages, and helping deliver effective first-time solutions.


Your duties will include:


  • Carrying out CCTV drainage and sewer surveys
  • Operating state-of-the-art iPEK CCTV camera systems
  • Operating Rioned high-pressure jetting equipment
  • Diagnosing defects and identifying the cause of drainage problems
  • Clearing blockages
  • Root cutting and de-scaling
  • Producing accurate CCTV survey reports
  • Maintaining vehicles and equipment to a high standard
  • Working safely and in accordance with relevant sewerage and health & safety requirements
  • Providing a professional service while representing the company on site


What We’re Looking For


  • OS19X qualification preferred
  • Previous experience as a CCTV Drainage Engineer
  • 3+ years’ experience is highly desirable and will be fast-tracked for interview
  • Experience operating CCTV survey and high-pressure jetting equipment
  • Good knowledge of drainage and sewer networks
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional attitude and good communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
