Private Work Operations Supervisor


Job Summary


Drainforce Ltd are looking to appoint a Private Work Operations Supervisor to ensure that the day to day running of the business is carried out in a safe manner, within set timescales and within budget and safety regulations.


You will answer to the operations Director however you will be the first point of contact from all crews and will be expected to work off your own initiative when dealing with crew issues. 

You will be required to rotate call with Line Manager on a weekly basis.


As Supervisor you will act as an authoritative figure to all crew teams and work force and will be expected to carry out the following roles and responsibilities diligently at all times.


Responsibilities and Duties

- Make Sure Departure Checks are completed

- Make Sure Crews are assisted out with what they are required

- Costing for Private Works ready for Invoice

- Reports for Private Works (Assistance with Nick)

- Updating Clients with Shift Reports

- Checking MAPPING System from Gully Sucking Contracts

- Checking RAMS and departure checks on the 2019 Scheduler

- Ensure Vehicles are allocated and Singed out. (If Swapping sign out)

- Answering Calls

- Completing Quotes

- Re Book the following Day with the information from Previous Day

- Complete Site Audits 1 per week

- Complete Site Visits

- Attend weekly scheduling meeting on Thursday with, Rehabilitation Complete Weekly Maintenance meeting

- To support Operations Directors Scheduling decisions and to see through the scheduling ensuring all crews know where they are going the day before and not in the morning 30 mins before arriving.

- Liaison with Client representatives

- Ensuring vehicles 2 weekly checks are completed and scheduled in during the scheduling meeting (4hrs) and all defects are rectified immediately. (One Vehicle to be cleaned and Checked Daily). This will be rotated throughout the company ensuring all vehicles are clean and tidy and in good working order. Form 20 for CCTV and Form 21and previous Itinerary list for Jetting

- Ensuring company policies are being adhered to by all personnel. A full understanding of the Health and Safety and Quality Systems

 

The above list is non-exhaustive and the work role may require extra activities to be implemented.


Minimum Qualifications Required:

- CSCS Card

- IOSH Managing Safely

- New Roads & Street Works, Signing, Lighting and Guarding

- Passport to Work


Experience:

Supervisory: 1 year (Preferred)
